Mexico. Fibra Inn announced the opening of the Courtyard by Marriott hotel in Saltillo, Coahuila. This hotel opened 180 rooms to the public. This property was announced as a development project in January 2014 and was executed on time and budget.
It is the first Courtyard by Marriott hotel in the Fibra Inn portfolio and is the only courtyard by Marriott brand hotel operating in this city. It is within the segment of select services and is operated by the Hotel Manager of Fibra Inn.
With the opening of this hotel, Fibra Inn has within its portfolio three hotels in Saltillo (the other two being the Holiday Inn Express and Hampton Inn by Hilton hotels), which belong to the three most important international hotel chains globally: IHG, Hilton and Marriott International.
This gives Fibra Inn a competitive advantage to position itself as a hotel leader in this square, with the recognition of the international guest that predominates in the area due to the automotive industry.
The Courtyard by Marriott hotel is located north of the city within the development of the mixed-use real estate project, Parque Centro. With this opening, Fibra Inn has a total portfolio of 37 properties: 36 hotels in operation and one in development. It has 6,238 total rooms; of which 351 are under construction.
