International. Paloma Olazabal was appointed as the new Director of Retail Leasing at JLL, a professional services and investment management company specializing in the real estate sector.
Olazabal will lead a team made up of a dozen professionals from JLL's offices in Madrid and Seville, and will assume marketing and remarketing of shopping centers and medium-sized parks as well as retail consulting and Tenant Representation work.
Paloma Olazabal has a degree in Commercial Management and Marketing from ESIC and has numerous specialization courses. In the same way, he has extensive experience in the sector, in which he has worked for more than 12 years.
He began his professional career at JLL in 2002, in the Retail Leasing department, in the commercialization of new projects of shopping centers, medium parks and factory outlets.
He has also been responsible for the commercialization of premises in prime centers such as Plenilunio and Principe Pío, in Madrid, and H2Ocio, in Rivas Madrid, all of them marketed 100% at the time of the inauguration and other outstanding projects such as Megapark Barakaldo and Park Avenue Fashion Outlet also in that Town of Biscay.
Paloma Olazabal was appointed Associate Director in June 2008 and has been since February 2011 responsible for Retail Tenant Representation within JLL's European Retail team, with the responsibility of providing worldwide service to brands and facilitating their entry into new markets.
Likewise, he has worked on the development of the strategy of the Expansion Plan of the American brand Hollister of Abercrombie & Fitch, for its implementation in the main Spanish cities and in the best locations in shopping centers.
