Internaiconal. In its commitment to energy efficiency, Junkers wanted to join the World Energy Saving Day, celebrated on October 21, providing a series of key measures to save energy in the air conditioning and production of domestic hot water in homes.
Junkers air/water heat pumps are innovative and efficient solutions with which to achieve significant energy and economic savings.
These guidelines are necessary taking into account that, at present, 41% of the energy consumed in the European Union corresponds to the consumption that is made in homes and residential buildings. Of all that energy, 71% corresponds to consumption in air conditioning, while 17% corresponds to the consumption of light and 12% to that of hot water, says the firm Junkers.
Junkers Decalogue for energy saving
Junkers proposes to help reduce the energy consumption of households with the 'Junkers Decalogue for energy saving' composed of the following saving measures:
- Review the energy label of the products, as it provides relevant information for the environment, yields and estimated average consumption.
- Take advantage of the Renove Plans to replace the old boiler with a more efficient condensing boiler.
- Combine a modulating controller with the condensing boiler, which saves up to 30% on the gas bill.
- Contract a maintenance service with the Official Technical Service, in order to ensure the correct operation at all times.
- Use applications such as App Junkers Control, which is free, to be able to program and manage the heating system remotely even outside the home.
- Opt for smart equipment with self-learning functions to ensure minimum consumption
- Use renewable energies. Solar systems allow an excellent use of solar energy for the production of hot water, heating and heating of swimming pools.
- Use applications such as App Junkers Water, also free, with visualization of historical in liters, gas and euros to make an efficient consumption.
- Choose a thermostatic heater with temperature control degree by degree, which offers greater performance and saves up to 1.5 liters in the opening of the tap and up to 35% in gas.
- Air conditioning and DHW production solutions with air/water heat pump, which provide the highest efficiency of up to A++ and energy savings of more than 70%.
One of the great advantages offered by the heat pump is the reduction of energy consumption, which translates into energy savings and a decrease in the bill due to the reduced annual costs in air conditioning and hot water.
