Building Robotics, Inc. is known by the name of its flagship product, the Comfy app. Its co-founders, CEO Andrew Krioukov and CTO Stephen Dawson-Haggerty, will remain in their current positions and the closing of the transaction is expected for the third quarter of 2018.
Through the Comfy app, Siemens Building Technologies will connect people, places and systems to create experiences by placing people as the fundamental part of any building. Comfy integrates directly into building automation, IT networks and IoT systems to provide on-demand control and intelligent automation, all within a single, intuitive application.
At a time when smart technology is becoming a must-have in life and the workplace, employees can use the app to make immediate changes to temperature and lighting, book rooms and desks, and provide feedback and feedback on their workspace, among many other features.
Founded in 2012, the Comfy team has leveraged its deep expertise in machine learning, UX design and enterprise service to develop software solutions for building operators and their tenants.
