International. UK & European Investments has leased an office building that recently rehabilitated one of the most dynamic and fastest growing areas of Barcelona to Hewlett Packard Services Spain, a division of HP Enterprises.
Hewlett Packard Services Spain will lease the entire building (7,200 m²) and join companies such as Amazon and WeWork, which have also leased buildings on the same street. Among the tenants located in the area, Facebook, Schibsted, King and Indra stand out.
Located in 22@ (Glories), the well-known business and commercial district of the center of Barcelona, number 66 Tangier Street is distributed over five floors, with a roof terrace of 800 m² that offers panoramic views of the district and the city. Since acquiring this building in July 2016, UK & European Investments has overseen the first refurbishment of an industrial building for transformation into Barcelona's first Leed Platinum certified office building.
Tangier 66 is the result of the rehabilitation of an old industrial building.

In addition, we are proud to have secured the city's first Leed Platinum certified office building development."
Following the acquisition of the building, London architecture firm Buckley Gray Yeoman (BGY) was appointed to conceive the new concept and redesign of the building. Deerns was also hired as a local architecture and engineering firm to work together with BGY on the execution of the final project. CBRE acted as an advisor on the lease.
