International. FMHOUSE and the Distance University of Madrid (UDIMA) announced the signing of a collaboration agreement that offers the possibility of taking the "Basic Course in Facility Management", a program designed to provide essential knowledge to those who are starting their career in this discipline or seek to understand its scope and applications in the business environment.
The course, which will be taught under the UDIMA-specific Degree modality, will last 24 teaching hours and will award 1 ECTS credit to students who successfully complete it. The School of Technical Sciences and Engineering of the UDIMA will be in charge of academically endorsing this program, thus guaranteeing the quality and educational rigor of the training.
A programme designed and adapted to the needs of the sector
FM has become increasingly important in the business world, becoming a key element for the efficient management of infrastructures and services. With this course, FMHOUSE and UDIMA seek to offer accessible, rigorous training aligned with market demands.
The "Basic Course in Facility Management" was born with the aim of providing the necessary theoretical material to those interested in entering the world of FM. This discipline, key in the efficient management of assets, infrastructures and support services in organizations, requires specific training that offers the necessary academic knowledge to be able to apply them later in the jobs that are required.
"This agreement allows us to bring Facility Management closer to a greater number of professionals, democratizing access to training in an area that is becoming increasingly relevant in the labor market," says David Martínez, director of the course and CEO of FMHOUSE.
For its part, UDIMA, with its consolidated experience in distance education and its innovative methodology, will facilitate access to the course to students from various locations, providing the possibility of training from anywhere in the world. Cristina Vázquez Ramil, course coordinator and Director of Operations at FMHOUSE, highlights that "the flexible format and academic quality of the program will allow students to acquire key knowledge without interfering with their professional activity."
