Hotel occupancy on the island of Cozumel reports low rates, as it has been reduced by 26% in the low season, when previously it reflected up to 40%, according to the report presented by the Manager of the Hotel Association of Cozumel, Isauro Cruz Lara.He assured that compared to the same period of 2007, the hotel occupancy that is reflected in this year is much higher, however he explained that this is due to the opening of the hotel "Aura", whose rooms were added to the large lodging centers of this destination. In the same way, Cruz said that hotel occupancy is expected to increase from November 15 with the increase in flights and arrival of floating hotels to this tourist destination, where the main visitors are Americans. Currently, the city has three thousand 524 rooms available in 21 large hotels in the city.
