With a net profit of 50 million euros (about US$69 million), the Sol Meliá hotel chain increased its revenues by 31.5% in 2010, according to the company.
The company also announced that it increased its revenue by 8.9% to 1,250.7 million euros (about US$1.7 billion) as well as Ebitda, which increased by 16.5%, to 235 million euros (about US$327 million).
Fourth quarter 2010 results for RevPAR (average income per available room) show a 13% increase for a full year total of 8.9%. In 2011 the chain estimates that the increase will be between 5 and 9%.
