With a remodeling of its facilities, the Crowne Plaza Guadalajara welcomed a group of athletes, journalists and tourists who came to the city on the occasion of the South American Games that are taking place these days, according to IHG, headquarters of the Crowne chain.
According to the company, the remodeling project focused on preserving the traditional Mexican style in the decoration, although avant-garde materials were incorporated into the furniture and lighting, which was made with LED lights.
In the lobby bar, the hotel installed a new illuminated onyx bar and counter-bar, as well as LED screens, translucent glass and a play and billiards area to ensure recreation and relaxation for its guests. To that is added the remodeling in the restaurant area that was equipped with new stainless steel equipment, which allowed to expand the variety of regional and international dishes offered.
200 rooms and suites were also renovated, hallways were illuminated, lobby furniture was changed, marble floors, tempered glass bathrooms, new carpets and flat-screen TVs were installed.
The hotel managers expressed their satisfaction with the opening and announced a series of added values that aim to make the stay of each of the guests more comfortable: "The Plaza Club restaurant and the Executive Floor will offer in addition to luxury amenities, a comfortable lounge where guests will enjoy a continental breakfast, canapés and wine in the afternoon, Internet and newspaper of the day, complimentary during their stay."
