A valuable award received this week the Crowne Plaza Tequendama from the company InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) for being one of the best in Latin America in the area of safety and risk management. This is the Global Partners in Safety Award 2011.
On May 7, the recognition was presented, for which more than 188 Crowne Plaza in the Americas were evaluated. Four establishments of this brand were winners.
The Tequendama is located in the city of Bogotá and consists of 573 rooms, among which are two face-to-face suites , a home automation (the only one in Colombia) and a complete spa service, wet and physical conditioning areas and 40 rooms with capacity to receive 5,200 people simultaneously.
In such a large space it is a challenge to maintain such a high quality level of security, as this establishment also has 296 apartments for long stays, a square located in the Tequendama International Center that has 30 floors and the only hotel heliport in the country.
