Mexico will receive an investment of close to US$100 million from the Spanish group Iberostar, within the framework of the expansion and growth project for this Latin American destination implemented by the company.
This investment will be reflected in the construction of a new hotel in the town of Litibú, Riviera Nayarit, which will be added to the existing offer of the Spanish company that already has nine hotel properties, two golf courses, two convention centers and a shopping center in the country.
According to information provided by the Ministry of Tourism of that country, the project contemplates the construction of a five-star luxury establishment with 450 rooms.
"This announcement is part of the strategy to promote the development of the state of Nayarit; with the purpose of consolidating the first level tourist infrastructure under the principles of sustainability and harmony with the environment, "says the official statement offered by the institution.
And he adds that the generation of jobs and regional development will be some of the most tangible benefits that will be obtained in the short term with these works.
