To celebrate the arrival of the Colombian chain Hoteles Estelar in Peru, the company's properties will hold a gastronomic festival in their restaurants during the month of July.
The Estelar La Fontana in Bogotá will begin, which will host this celebration from July 9 to 13, will be followed by the Estelar Golden Mile in Medellín from July 16 to 20.
For its part, the Intercontinental Cali will have its turn from July 21 to 27 and the Estelar Alto Prado de Barranquilla will hold this event from July 30 to August 3.
The festival will celebrate the rich Peruvian cuisine focusing on the three most popular concepts in that country: Criollo, Nikeyee and Chifa, which will be accompanied by cocktails and typical liquors.
The person in charge of leading this initiative and ensuring the quality of the food will be Julio Cesar Valdivia, executive chef of the Estelar Lima Hotels, who studied haute cuisine at the EXPRO Institute of Gastronomy and has a specialization from the San Ignacio de Loyola University of Peru.
Precisely, the chef said that "thanks to this gastronomic tour of the Estelar hotels I have the opportunity to continue strengthening Peruvian gastronomy in Colombia, for me it is important to take advantage of the richness of the land, the flavors of yesteryear and the fusion of different elements with the latest trends in preparation and decoration, which have made Peruvian cuisine an icon of world gastronomy."
