As there is positive movement in the hotel market of the countries, so does the dynamics of the bars and restaurants of the same establishments, as confirmed by several Colombian hoteliers.
According to Carlos Felipe Santos, manager of the B3 Hotel in Bogotá, Dinero Magazine after the opening of the property has managed to position itself not only in the hotel market but also in the entertainment market.
The trend is that guests are increasingly looking for this space to share with other guests, with their partners, to advance work meetings or simply distract themselves for a long time.
For example, the Gastro-Bar, El Tres, entertainment center of the aforementioned hotel receives daily customers from all regions of the country and the world, evidencing that it is the perfect and complementary space for the hotel.
As indicated by the aforementioned publication, the business administrator Jaime Toro, assured that the restaurants of the hotels have been consolidated in the perfect space for travelers, especially corporate travelers to have their business appointments.
Not surprisingly, according to Santos, only the bar generates profits of $ 50 million a month (about US $ 30,000), "because it lives full of executives and foreigners closing great deals," said the manager.
