A new smart building project is about to start in the city of Arequipa, Peru. This is the Business Center of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIA), a modern building that will cost more than US$4.5 million.
According to the president of the Chamber, Juan Carlos Calderón, this new architectural and technological proposal will come to benefit the city's tourism sector with the development of various academic, business and cultural events.
The building will be located on a plot of 6,500 square meters and will have five floors, two basements, an auditorium for conventions with capacity for 400 people. It will be a new space that the city needed to undertake commercial events that attract travelers from the corporate and business segments.
In the ceremony of laying the first stone were present the manager of the CCIA, Rafael Chirinos, the former presidents, Julio Morriberón and Reynaldo Roberts, who stressed the importance of this modern Business Center, for the development of Arequipa.
