The green light was given to start the construction of the most modern building in the Peruvian capital, it is the Torre Barlovento, a construction that will be located on a plot of 1,140 square meters, between the avenues República de Panamá and Canaval and Moreyra in the heart of the Financial Center of San Isidro.
This new property will have 32 floors: the first will operate as a lobby and will house common areas and multipurpose lounges. There will be 29 floors of offices and two technical floors, in addition to 10 basements for parking.
It will be strategically located next to the Chocavento Tower (Citibank) and in front of the Wiese Tower, becoming a benchmark for architectural development for offices in the capital.
As explained by Jaime Rodríguez Larrain, Executive President of C and J, the work will be in charge of a company formed by C and J Constructores y Contractor of Peru and Echevarría Izquierdo of Chile.
"We are committed to protecting the environment in making this new business building a reality. The modern design of the Windward Tower will make it an attractive place for business, since this project, "said the executive.
Rodríguez also assured that it is being considered to opt for the Leed certification, "which is based on the incorporation of aspects related to energy efficiency, improvement in environmental quality in the interior, efficiency in water consumption and selection of materials, which translates into an economic benefit for future owners. It will also have energy triggers to improve the seismic behavior of the building's structure."
