A turnover of 600 million euros (about US$800 million) was reported during 2012 by the Spanish company ISS, dedicated to the integration of general services for companies. This means that it had a half-point improvement in its profitability compared to 2011.
One of the most profitable divisions of the company is the Integrated Facility Services (IFS) created in 2012 and one of its most successful products is the Operating Cost Optimization Program, implemented in 2008 that manages to reduce the direct and indirect costs of its customers.
In a statement issued by the company, the executive president, Joaquim Borrás, said that the multinational has achieved sales worth ONE US $ 90 million, a meritorious fact if one takes into account that the facility services market has had a decrease of 9% in recent months.
The new IFS division has exceeded forecasts and closed 2012 with an additional US$7 million in turnover. In 2013 the company will continue to bet on integration and strengthen the restoration and maintenance divisions.
