Colombia. The Association of Modern Building Managers, AGEM, will hold a conference entitled "RITEL - Technical Regulation for Internal Telecommunications Networks" next Tuesday, May 27, from 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m., with free admission, in the Germán Arciniegas Auditorium of the Nueva Granada Military University of Bogotá.
This talk, by the engineer Germán Cortés, arises in response to the fact that on July 15 the Colombian regulations were officially published that establish the requirements that all owners must take into account when designing and building telecommunications networks (telephony, internet, cable or wireless television, among others) in modern buildings.
This conference will know the scope of the regulation and the main technical aspects for the access and use of the common telecommunications infrastructure in buildings under criteria of free competition, non-discriminatory treatment, technical and economic feasibility. Technical measures related to the design, construction, supervision and commissioning of internal telecommunications networks, under international engineering standards, will be mentioned.
It should be noted that Germán Cortés is an electronic engineer from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. He has a specialization in Engineering Project Management. Specialist in Electronic Security, Communications and Automation for Smart Buildings, with more than 25 years of experience. President of the consulting engineering firm, Insetrón Ltda.
