Peru. From November 4 to 7, the third version of the Facility Management Week was held in Lima, Peru. During these days, different professionals from the sector met at the Suites del Bosque Hotel, in the financial district of San Isidro.
Facility Management is not a new discipline in Peru and Facility Management Week was presented as an opportunity to strengthen the role of the discipline in the country and as a meeting point for those interested in exchanging experiences and best practices.
As in the previous editions of Colombia and Panama, the creation of a working group was proposed to shape a national association for Facility Management (FM) professionals.
In addition, talks focused on topics such as "Advances of FM in Peru" were held, by Jorge Espizona, Chief of Operations of the University of San Ignacio de Loyola; "Preventive maintenance and FM, dictated by Sylvia More, Maintenance Engineer and Technical Management at Swisso; and "Multidisciplinary structure of the FM", by Juan Carlos Bejarano, General Services Manager at ENTEL.
