United States. According to information gathered with interviews with more than 400 professionals in the cleaning sector, in a study conducted by the company P&G Professional on the current situation of this industry, companies are increasingly efficient at the operational level and better to keep costs low in this area.
Compared to the results of the same study in 2011, the pressure on the cleaning industry to keep operating costs low has decreased by 6% thanks to the strengthening of the US economy.
The health sector is the exception to the above, because due to its particular characteristics it is considered a segment of "extreme pressure". The percentage of people working in the cleaning area who believe that health companies are pressuring them to keep costs down increased from 27% in 2011 to 35% in the last study.
Similarly, professionals in the health sector were also more likely to cut spending on office implements and employee benefits.
