International. An inadequate management of the billing process of telecommunications services can mean an increase of up to 30% in the price of this important service for large companies, according to data collected by the company Teamnet.
This 30% is reflected of course in thousands, and even millions, of dollars a year depending on the level of complexity of the company and its volume of hiring. One of the main mistakes made is that many times the invoices do not include some of the benefits or discounts agreed during the negotiation with the company providing the service.
Similarly, the lack of specialized technological tools, ignorance or lack of time for a thorough review of billed consumption, cause that every year many organizations do not detect possible cost overruns.
"Companies currently cannot check or contrast their telecommunications bills as is the case with other more controllable supplies. The usual thing is to trust that the amount is correct and proceed with the payment, "explained Javier Cid de Quevedo, CEO of Teamnet.
