Spain. The real estate consultancy Cushman & Wakefield will be in charge of planning and supervising the remodeling that will be carried out during this year of the Beatriz Building, one of the most emblematic properties for offices in Madrid and of which the real estate company has been a tenant for 17 years.
The reform will include works throughout the lobby of the ground floor and common areas of the rest of the floors, as well as a renovation of the air conditioning system of those areas. This will be added to the renovation of the electricity system completed last year.
The modernization of this building, which in 2015 celebrates 40 years since its construction, will be complemented by the installation of a new access control system using smart cards, a comprehensive electronic surveillance system, a new permanent security post and the incorporation of new courtesy meeting rooms.
Andrés Monge, Project Manager of Cushman & Wakefield in Madrid, said that "the idea is to give the ground floor multipurpose rooms, better security conditions and greater and more differentiated accessibility. In short, to give it a modern image while lasting over time".
