Colombia. In the framework of Expoconstrucción and Expodiseño 2015, Gerencia de Edificios had the opportunity to interview Jan Ebersold, general manager of Keuko, a German company of taps and accessories for bathrooms and kitchen. Ebersold highlighted the growing importance of the Latin American market for the company, due to the increase in demand for this type of products due to the high number of new hotels and office buildings under construction or renovation in the region.
The executive estimated that in the next three years the company will make an investment in Colombia close to one million euros in order to position itself in the market.
"The Colombian customer has realized the quality and design of the existing products abroad so he has become more demanding compared to the type of accessory he wants to install in his bathrooms," said the interviewee.
Regarding its relationship with the commercial and corporate sector, Ebersold pointed out that "the hotel sector is the one in which we have the greatest strength, we have recently won projects such as the Kuali Mercure hotel, in Santa Marta, of the Accor Group and we will also be the suppliers for a new Marriot in Lima, Peru".
