Spain. The real estate consultancy Cushman & Wakefield was chosen to advise the Spanish company Axis Corporate in its process of moving to a new office. Axis will move from its current corporate headquarters to the Alta Diagonal building, located in a renowned business area of Barcelona , to a building known for its modern and efficient design.
The Alta Diagonal property has the LEED Gold certificate that the Green Buildings Council of the United States (USGBC) approves, which was an important factor for Axis executives when choosing it.
Javier Bernades, managing partner Business Space Agency Offices and Industrial in Spain, told local media that "the building is an example of how a building rehabilitated with sustainability criteria can differentiate itself and attract tenants to the most expensive area of the city".
On the other hand, Casimiro Gracia, president of Axis Corporate, said that "the growth of Axis Corporate in recent years, as well as the good business prospects, with an expected growth of turnover of 25%, and the future incorporation of professionals to our firm, have forced us to look for a new space in Barcelona adapted to the new needs of the company: more space, a modern and efficient design, and a privileged location in the city, in one of the most dynamic commercial and office areas".
