Argentina. The real estate consultancy Colliers International revealed that during the course of this year the city of Buenos Aires will have four new office buildings that will add 44,000 square meters to the offer of this type in the city.
Similarly, Colliers reported that 38% of the new areas of office buildings that will enter the city will comply with the sustainability standards established by the LEED certification in terms of energy savings, improvement of environmental quality and efficiency in water consumption.
In general, during the second quarter of 2015 the inventory of offices for the city of Buenos Aires remained stable at 1,646,885 square meters, while the level of vacancy registered a slight decrease from 8.1% in the first quarter of the year to 7.4% during the current quarter.
As for prices, a quarterly increase was observed from US$ 23.8 per square meter registered during the first quarter of the year, to a price of US$ 24.7 per square meter.
