Chile. The International Construction Fair 2015, organized jointly by the Chilean Chamber of Construction (CChC), the Chilean Institute of Cement and Concrete (ICH) and the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) and which brings together the Fairs Edifica, ExpoHormigón, and Conexpo, announced that architects and professionals linked to this sector will have a specialized sector for them.
The event that will be held between October 21 and 24 in Santiago de Chile, will feature the Architecture & Interior Design Hall in which around forty manufacturers and distributors of products and technologies for design and architecture in construction will exhibit, such as Masisa, Ducasse, CMPC Maderas, Vidrios Lirquén, and Fenglu, manufacturer of extruded aluminum profiles in China, which lands at the Fair attracted by its business potential.
In addition, the fair will have a special day dedicated to Architecture, where talks will be held on constructive solutions, new technologies, acoustic and energy labeling of windows, among others, by organizations such as AOA, Achival and Plataforma Arquitectura.
Within the framework of the Fair, the 4th International City Conference: Urban Regeneration will also be presented, with the aim of creating a space for reflection on the mechanisms that allow the recovery of the most relegated sectors of cities.
It will feature as a special guest Ken Livingstone, former mayor of London between 2000 and 2008, who implemented an investment program aimed at improving transport and public spaces in that city, while promoting the revitalization of degraded sectors.
