With the Solar Decathlon the houses of the future come to Cali

Colombia. After passing through the United States, Asia and Europe, the Solar Decathlon arrives for the first time in Latin America and the Universidad del Valle and Cali will host it from December 4 to 15. 

The Solar Decathlon is an international call that promotes the design and construction of sustainable houses that work 100% with solar energy. This time Cali will host.

These houses designed and built by universities around the world will be exhibited for free between December 4 and 15 in the Villa Solar located in the Meléndez headquarters of the Universidad del Valle. 

As an ally of the Solar Decathlon, the CCCS will be present at the opening ceremony on December 3 and providing a lecture on the academic agenda on December 11. The event will have free admission.
