International. The International Monetary Fund signed an agreement with RICS to train the management staff of its facilities.
The 20 members of the entity's professional staff will work towards a six-month distance education certificate, as well as a significant number of face-to-face classes and seminars, with the aim of helping to adapt to the changing needs of the division and allowing them to qualify for a member of RICS.
RICS is an international organization that promotes and enforces the highest professional standards and qualifications in the development and management of land, real estate, property and construction.
At the same time he identifies and disseminates best practices and thought leadership throughout the real estate lifecycle – for example, his "Raising the Bar", research aimed at improving the strategic role of facilities management; its participation in international coalitions to develop international proprietary measurement standards and International Construction Measurement Standards; and its partnership with the National Institute of Building Sciences, a leader in the built environment, on topics such as P3 and high-performance buildings.
