Argentina. At least 12 entities linked to horizontal property held a meeting in recent days in which they raised their concerns about the sanction of a law that creates the Horizontal Property Council of the City of Buenos Aires (Cphcaba).
"Faced with the absurd law sanctioned by the Buenos Aires Legislature, which submits the fate of all horizontal property consortia to the will of the guild of managers, the institutions linked to the sector expressed their rejection and request for repeal," says a statement signed by the authorities of the chambers, associations of administrators and consortium members.
Among other entities, the Argentine Chamber of Horizontal Property and Real Estate Activities, the League of the Consorcist of Horizontal Property and the Union of Consortium Members of the Argentine Republic participated.
In addition, they launched a call to gather signatures and ask that the law be reviewed because, among other things, it could lead to increased expenses.
