Latin America. The Apice scholarship program (Pan American Association of Educational Credit Institutions) - Structuralia launched its first edition this year and has a grant of more than US$1.4 million in scholarships for Latin American engineers and graduates seeking highly specialized postgraduate training, in the form of master's degrees, diplomas and long-term programs (www.becas-apice-structuralia.com).
The 2016 edition will feature training programs covering the areas of railways, roads, electric power, oil and gas, building, project management and PPPs.
The organizers have the qualifications of European universities of the highest prestige such as the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, the Pontifical University of Comillas, the International University of La Rioja, the Isabel I International University, etc.
Structuralia has offices in Madrid, Chile, Colombia and Mexico.
All higher education programs have faculty of professors and authors of the highest reference and international experience in each of their disciplines.
The application period for obtaining one of the 152 scholarships available in this call ends on April 22.
Within the framework of this objective, Apice and Structuralia have partnered to promote the programs where master's degrees in management and operations of civil infrastructures stand out; in construction, maintenance and operation of roads; in Facility Management; in the design, construction and maintenance of railway infrastructures; international master's degree in oil and gas engineering and business.
There are also opportunities for studies in public-private partnership; in intermodal freight transport and international master's degree in urban water engineering and services.
