With the participation of more than 20 companies in the sector, a significant number of information and communication technology (ICT) professionals, and some of BICSI's most prominent partners, the DataNet Bicsi Congress was held for the second time in Mexico, with an extensive program of conferences, followed by a commercial exhibition, where attendees were able to know first-hand from experts, the latest advances in technology, in addition, to expand their knowledge about this industry.
The event fulfilled its initial goal of bringing together experts and giving them the opportunity to see the latest innovations in the ICT sector. The DataNet Bicsi congress has had a great acceptance by the industry and this year managed to convene more than 500 attendees, almost double last year, who were able to interact with the most outstanding suppliers, manufacturers and speakers. Due to the positive results of this edition of the event, alliances are planned so that the congress becomes a forum with greater capacity.
The technical sessions and round tables, led by industry leaders, showed interesting solutions to achieve greater productivity in companies, as well as sharing best practices between users and manufacturers. "The industry around the world is undergoing changes every day, so it is important to stay informed and updated to move at the pace that today's technologies demand," said Nidia Tenorio, Vice President of BICSI Mexico. It should be noted that BICSI, one of the organizing companies, together with different sponsors, seeks with this type of events, to help fulfill its mission of bringing information to industry representatives, to make better decisions regarding infrastructure and acquisition of specialized equipment offered by the market.

One of the outstanding lectures was: "The impact of the Internet of Things and the infrastructure of its Data Center", given by Nelson Farfán of the company Simeon. In that presentation, attendees heard about new networking technologies for current and emerging applications, associated with the Internet of Things and copper and fiber optic cabling systems for these technologies.
The official opening was in charge of Brian Ensing, President of BICSI worldwide, who invited attendees to meet the industry representatives gathered at the event and assured that BICSI seeks to be present in more countries to offer its training and certification programs to its associate members.
