Mexico. In the area of Polanco, Mexico City, a new development of offices with commercial space gives life to the Punto Polanco area, which required an investment of one thousand 500 million pesos and bears the hallmark of sustainability.
The project, erected in Colonia Granada on a space of 62,000 square meters, has LEED certification, green roofs and saving facades, Said in an interview Marcos Fasja, deputy director of GFa Real Estate Group, developer of the project.
"It manages to be a highly efficient building with very flexible and, well, sustainable spaces," he said.
The place has 47 thousand square meters of offices distributed over 17 levels and one of its advantages is that in each plant there are about 2 thousand 800 profitable square meters, which was attractive for companies.
"Many companies come from buildings where they were on six floors, now it can be in one or two," he explained.
This generates savings for companies that are attractive, he said.
The place also has a commercial area of 2,600 square meters where there is a Starbucks and there are negotiations for another cafeteria whose name was reserved by the manager; in addition, the idea is that there is a gourmet market food area.
Among the amenities of Punto Polanco stands out an outdoor plant that tenants can enjoy and a helipad that for companies is usually very practical, he said.
So far, the place has an occupancy of 60 percent and some of its tenants are Prudential Seguros and Iza Business.
The project has one thousand 800 parking drawers distributed in eight basements.
The building was completed last December and the development of the work lasted three years.
