The Sindicato Único de Trabajadores de Edificios de Rentas y Horizonatales (Suterh) of Argentina managed to get more than 300 building managers in the province of Paraná to achieve a benefit of a staggered increase of 33% of their salary that must be approved by March 2014.
The agreement was reached with the chambers of real estate entrepreneurs and according to Hugo Ortega, General Secretary of the Union, this benefit is expected to reach more than 300 workers.
According to statements by the official published in different Argentine media, "as is public knowledge, we have achieved in parity the increase of 33 percent salary increase, staggered until March 2014. Now we are waiting for the homologation, which is signed."
The salary increase will be made in stages as follows: 11% will be collected retroactively to March 2013, 8% more in October of this year, 5% will be collected in December and the remaining 9% must be collected in 2014.
The homologation process is expected to be signed before the end of May.
