Highly anticipated and close will be the final of the national contest Hotels + Greens; eight establishments were selected as finalists for the award for Best Sustainable Hotel Project in Argentina.
The main objective of the competition is to integrate the principles of sustainability into the value chain of the Argentine hotel industry.
Based on this, the bases for participation address elements such as the design of the facilities with sustainability criteria, the incorporation of eco-efficient hotel technologies, good practices of sustainable hotel management, the development and placing on the market of products or services that reduce the environmental impact of the hotel activity in any of its dimensions and the realization of studies that facilitate progress towards the sustainability of the Argentine hotels.
According to the organizing committee of the award , a total of 28 projects from 14 provinces of the country were presented. The eight finalists will be presented to a jury on September 4 and 5 during the Hotelga Fair. Finally, there will be three winning projects.
