Ces University, located in the city of Medellín, Colombia, recently inaugurated new spaces and buildings that sought to renovate the campus and give it a more modern face and in tune with the philosophy of the institution, which this year celebrates 35 years.
The new projects will house the Administrative Building, the University Welfare Building and a tower designed to offer parking services.
According to the rector of the University, José María Maya, the objective is to continue advancing and improving not only for the academic community but also for the city of Medellín.
Likewise, the official said that these renovations are part of the strategic line of development drawn by the institution that seeks to have a modern university and friendly to people and the environment.
During the opening ceremony of this new physical phase of the university, recognitions were given to the educational institution by the Mayor's Office and the City Council: the Medal of Educational and Cultural Merit Porfirio Barba Jacob Silver Category was awarded by the Mayor's Office of that city, for its part, the Council gave him the Order of Merit Juan Del Corral.
