A total of 88 facades of the historic center of the Federal District of Mexico were intervened in order to rehabilitate and renovate them. The repainting and wiring work was recently completed.
The initiative to adapt the facades was implemented between Belisario Domínguez and República de Venezuela streets and is part of the conservation work of the Historic Center that has been carried out by the Trust of this sector.
The works included the application of paint in flattening and blacksmithing, rearrangement of electrical and telephone wiring, cleaning of cornices and other quarry elements.
The work was carried out in coordination with the citizens, the owners and managers of the intervened properties and the National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH).
From the institute indicated that this process is part of the Urban Improvement project of the North Circuit of Line 4 of the Metrobus and recalled that the infrastructure of the drinking water, electricity, telephony and drainage service in the area of the Central Axis and Ring Road was changed.
