A series of training courses for employees of the Municipality of La Plata and for members of cooperatives that provide services in the theme park of the Republic of Children, was held in recent days in order to train in topics such as electricity, gas installations and maintenance of buildings.
The training of personnel allows the administration of the Republic to optimize the use of resources allocated to maintenance, while the worker provides the necessary tools to train in the workplace with official degrees and subsequent enrollment, commented some of the attendees to the courses.
The initiative is part of an agreement between the Municipality and the regional CGT, which is intended for personnel of Worker Cooperatives, Municipal Employees and the general public, through the Vocational Training Center No. 407.
On the other hand, a programme for the enhancement of the Children's Republic has been launched, through which some places have been refurbished. In that sense, the trained employees built during 2012 three bathrooms and a kitchen.
Participating in the delivery were the director of the Vocational Training Center No. 407, Edgardo Ceraci; the President of the Valorar Foundation, Guillermo Raimondi; and the coordinator of the professional training program in facilities of the Municipality of La Plata, Rufino Prieto.
