On Tuesday, March 5, World Energy Efficiency Day was celebrated, an initiative that was generated by the need to remember the importance of the rational use of energy and the existence of efficient buildings and homes to combat climate change.
On this day, both entities and companies, corporations and associations that work for this objective want to promote mechanisms that reduce consumption and help generate electricity through clean processes.
According to experts, the most efficient energy consumed is that which does not generate CO2, which can be produced at the place of consumption and which, therefore, does not require transport infrastructure.
Data from the International Labour Organization (ILO), specify that energy efficiency could generate an average of 1.37 million jobs in a country of the characteristics of Spain. Another advantage, mentions the Organization, promotes sustainability and energy sovereignty.
