Latin America. Schneider Electric presented U.motion, a building control solution with KNX technology, video intercom systems and IP video, which offers a new concept for integral management of spaces, providing comfort, mobility, security and energy efficiency in the building.
Regardless of the type and size of the property, U.motion allows you to control all its functions from a touch screen, Smartphone or Tablet. In addition, a uniform user interface for all devices allows its users to control all the functions of the KNX building in a comfortable and intuitive way.
The main control element of U.motion is the touch panels. A structured interface provides an overview of the entire technological building management system.
Touch panels are available in three different sizes to meet users' different needs and budgets, from a 7" 'ultraslim' display that can be installed vertically or horizontally, to 10" and 15" displays.
Schneider Electric also has specific boxes for installation. The whole family is completed with the 10 and 15'' models of the U.motion KNX Server Plus, which directly includes the KNX server on the screen.
There are two different versions of the KNX U.Motion server to adapt to the needs of each project. In the most complex cases, the server can integrate the larger versions of the touch panels with IP cameras or video intercom systems.
On the other hand, the online installation and configuration of U.motion is fast, simple and web-based, so it does not require installing any additional software for its configuration.
