Latin America. Tyco Security Products announces the integration of its Software House C•CURE 9000 security and event management system with Offline Salto locks, enabling seamless access control in buildings through a single user interface.
The C•CURE 9000/SALTO solution is ideal for access control systems that require varying levels of security at indoor or outdoor access points. With this solution, offline SALTO locks are implemented on internal doors that require a moderate level of security, such as offices and storage spaces, while software House wired access controllers are used on perimeter and high-security access points. In this way, security operators can control the access of all the doors of the establishment through the C•CURE 9000 user interface based on communications between C•CURE 9000 and the SALTO server.

The C•CURE 9000/SALTO solution supports an almost unlimited number of offline locks and uses SALTO online readers that allow access cards to be upgraded with offline readers. The use of access cards instead of mechanically operated keys saves costs because it avoids the use of monetary and human resources that were previously used to replace lost keys. The guided user interface of C•CURE 9000 and its single sign-on credential system make access control management simpler and more efficient. With the C•CURE 9000/SALTO lock solution, no wiring is required for lock installation and offline locks can be installed on virtually any type of door.
