Latin America. Honeywell announced the addition of new equIP Series IP cameras designed to deliver high image quality in very low light environments. With a simple and uniform design, the new equIP cameras offer a better user experience, are easy to install, use and maintain and also allow integration with other solutions installed in connected buildings.
These new equIP cameras allow their integration with other solutions installed in connected buildings.
The new equIP cameras feature the latest technology that delivers higher resolution, bandwidth optimization and built-in video analytics. The cameras use the new H.265 codec, reducing the storage needs of the video recorder without sacrificing image quality and providing lower bandwidth usage. Honeywell Xtralis IntrusionTrace video analytics software improves the accuracy and responsiveness of the surveillance system, helping the user reduce economic losses and limit business disruption.
For connected buildings
The equIP Series is aimed at security professionals who want to more easily design solutions for connected buildings. The cameras easily integrate with other solutions in the Honeywell ecosystem creating a complete IP monitoring and control platform. The cameras are perfect for business environments and critical infrastructures where uninterrupted surveillance is an essential issue, such as industrial buildings, public supplies, energy facilities, educational centers, officials and banking.
Easy to install and maintain, the equIP range can reuse existing pole, corner, pendants and wall mounts, saving installers and customers time and money. If the cameras are installed with Honeywell MAXPRO, setup is even easier since all cameras are automatically detected by MAXPRO in a direct installation process.
