25 million dollars is the investment made by the Decameron hotel chain on the island of Barú, in the final stage of the construction of the Royal Decameron Barú. The island is one of the future poles of tourism development of Cartagena de Indias. It will be a luxurious resort with 330 rooms that will offer four restaurants, four bars, snacks, three swimming pools, fitness center, spa and a convention center with capacity for 700 people and state-of-the-art technology.
This is in addition to two other important investments that the chain culminates in the Latin American region: the Decameron Mompiche, in Ecuador, a 300-room resort that also opens in mid-December and has had an investment of 30 million dollars; and the Lake Tota project in Boyacá. The hotel chain already has 34 establishments in nine countries.
