Hilton Worldwide and F&F Properties will sign to present the country's first Waldorf Astoria hotel, named The Panamera located in Panama City, which is under construction and is planned to open in the second half of 2011."Expanding our presence in Latin America is part of Hilton Worldwide's strategy to focus our resources and build our brands internationally," said John Vanderslice, global head of hilton worldwide and lifestyle brands. This will be the first Waldorf Astoria hotel in Latin America and Hilton Worldwide's fifth project in this country.
The Panamera will have 130 rooms and 118 luxury residences, plus a spa, fitness center and outdoor pool. It will also have more than 400 square meters of meeting rooms and business center. The property is located very close to the commercial and banking district of the city, less than 15 minutes from the international airport.
