With an investment of more than US$20 million, the interContinental® Hotels Group (IHG) hotel chain and Grupo Inmobiliario Ricsher, S.A. de C.V., inaugurated in the state of Veracruz the new Crowne Plaza Tuxpan, in what its owners consider as the new "Meeting Place that will modify the conventional hotel industry of the region".
The five-star, 163-room hotel offers an executive floor for breakfast, fitness center, swimming pool and three consumption centers including the Tambuc Restaurant, with a worldwide grill and capacity for 167 people; the Tanhuijo Bar, with live music and capacity for 120 participants, and the Pool Bar Tochtli on the riverbank.
Additionally, for organizers of meetings and social conventions, the Crowne Plaza Tuxpan has three boardrooms and the Tochpan Convention Center has seven rooms to accommodate from 10 to 1,700 people; in addition to providing a personalized service to meet the details that the event requires.
Another feature offered by the hotel is the Sleep Advantage® program, which, through special products and services, can create and maintain a restful environment for people with sleep disorder.
The place is located in the La Calzada neighborhood, on the banks of the Tuxpan River, 5 minutes from the beach and 40 minutes from El Tajín National Airport.
