At the end of March this year , the first themed hotel dedicated to a football team will open its doors. This is the Boca Juniors Hotel, a five-star establishment belonging to the Design Suites chain.
Although the hotel is not yet open to the public , it already has more than US $ 100,000 for reservations between May and July and according to the businessmen and owners of the hotel project among the guests who will be staying for those days are Diego Maradona and Martín Palermo, each in a suite with jacuzzi and view of the Neighborhood of La Boca.
According to the entrepreneurs of the project, this is the first hotel of its kind in Latin America, "and if in addition to the exclusivity the possibility of rubbing shoulders with the soccer stars in the hotel lobby is added, it is not strange that the demand exceeds the supply," said Pablo Veloso, commercial manager of the hotel and promoter of the project.
The establishment already has 17 floors and is located between the Obelisk and La Bombonera, in Buenos Aires, Aregentina. It will also open a store that will sell shirts signed by the players who have passed through Boca Juniors, albums of figurines, balls and everything related to the team that awakens the passions of many.
Spending a night at this hotel will cost between US$250 and US$800, a value that includes tickets to La Bombonera, free passage to training and interviews with the players.
"The hotel was designed with the idea that the guest spends a lot of time inside, enjoying the historical matches of the club transmitted in three dimensions, the heated pool and, of course, the presence of the players who will stay twice a month in the establishment," Veloso explained to the newspaper El Mundo of Spain.
