By 2013, the construction of three new hotels is expected in Managua, the capital of Nicaragua, Benjamin Lanzas, president of the Nicaraguan Chamber of Construction, told local media.
The above information is derived from the construction permits processed in recent months, and, although the details of the projects are not yet known, the certainty of having new hotel properties is very positive for the Central American city.
As revealed by Lanzas, one of the establishments will be of the Holiday Inn brand, while of the other two the details of the companies that will operate them are not yet known.
The official also stressed that the country suffers from a deficit in terms of its offer of hotel rooms, so it is important that the opening of new properties that allow expanding the tourist possibilities of the destination continues to be encouraged.
