Argentina. The city of La Plata will add four new properties to its hotel offer in the coming years, thanks to the constructions that are being advanced for the start-up of the Dazzler Tower, Sheraton Building Square, Abes Argoth Hotel and Howard Jhonson hotels.
These initiatives are expected to generate an investment of $315 million Argentine pesos during their construction and nearly 300 new jobs; In addition, it is already defined that three of the properties will be located in the downtown area of the city, while the remaining building will be located on the La Plata-Buenos Aires highway.
The increase in the level of hotel investment is mainly due to the growth of the city as a destination for events and conventions, so having more rooms is a necessity for the destination, hence the 550 new rooms that will be added with these four hotels are well received.
In this regard, the mayor of the city, Pablo Bruera, told local media that "if we take into account the large number of congresses that are held in La Plata, international recitals and major sporting events, investments are justified."
