Venezuela. The Wyndham hotel chain will have a new property under its brand in one of the most representative Venezuelan tourist destinations, Isla Margarita. The Hotel Concorde Isla Margarita, reopened its doors as Wyndham Concorde Resort Isla Margarita, a 5-star establishment that becomes the first hotel of the Wyndham brand in that country.
The complex has three buildings in which you can find 331 rooms in the main hotel building, 215 suites for timeshare and 100 suites in a building conceived as an aparthotel, as well as a convention center.
In statements to local media, Carlos Pérez Schael, founding partner of the initiative explained that "we opened to the public with the first stage of development, a 24-story tower with capacity for 331 rooms that is the main building of the hotel. There are 46,000 square meters of construction between guest service areas and outdoor recreational areas, in which at the moment 450 direct employees and about 900 indirect employees coexist."
For his part, the general manager of the hotel, Fernando Prato, commented that "we are very proud that Wyndham Hotel Group, begins its presence in Venezuela with Wyndham Concorde Resort Isla Margarita. That makes us part of a network that brings together 7,400 hotel facilities, 15 renowned brands and more than 690,000 rooms in the world."
