Mexico. The hotel company G6 Hospitality announced that during the next 5 years it expects to build about 55 hotels focused on business tourism in different cities in Mexico. To achieve this, the company will invest around 2 billion Mexican pesos (US$132 million).
This expansion strategy will be carried out in conjunction with the Mexican company Latina Promohoteles, an organization dedicated to the conceptualization, planning, consulting and marketing of industrial and entertainment centers.
In this regard, the president and CEO of G6 Hospitality, Jim Amorosia, said that "we have full confidence in Mexico and the growth of its economy, so we will continue to invest in the country," adding that "this expansion into the Latin American market marks a very important moment for G6 Hospitality and our brands."
The first properties born of this expansion plan will be inaugurated this year under the brands Hotel 6 and Estudio 6, in the city of Salamanca, Guanajuato and Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco. Likewise, it is expected to start the construction of properties in Querétaro and Puebla.
