Mexico. During the Innovation Summit Mexico event, Microsoft, together with Schneider Electric, presented its interoperable, open and IoT-ready platform and architecture, EcoStruxure, which is designed to work in homes, buildings, data centers, infrastructures and industries.
As part of the collaboration between these companies, EcoStruxure's architecture works on the Microsoft Azure cloud, enabling digital transformation at scale for customers in industry, construction, networking and data centers.
This way, customers using EcoStruxure will be able to access many of Schneider's cloud-based applications, which in turn exploit all the next-generation capabilities of the Azure cloud, such as mixed reality. As part of the offer, this platform offers security in the connection between customers, thus providing trust among its users and an efficiency that is summarized in greater productivity.
Francisco Corona, Director of Business Solutions and Cloud for Microsoft Mexico, highlighted: "For Microsoft it is a great pride to be able to be part of this project, by providing value in the exploitation of the data obtained, using our advanced analytics services and tools such as Machine Learning that allow us to have predictive maintenance and energy savings within companies regardless of their turn".
Felipe Rivera, Director of Process Automation for Schneider Electric Mexico and Central America added: "By partnering, both companies can continue to drive the value of IoT, delivering tangible and measurable business outcomes, enabling our customers to leverage new data, build new perspectives and drive digital transformation in their organization."
Through these solutions, Microsoft seeks to continue bringing people and companies closer to technology, and this project in conjunction with Schneider Electric is just one example of the efforts being made to achieve this.
