Colombia. The development of tourism in this country continues to receive good news. The Spanish group Sirenis and the Colombian operator OxoHotel made an alliance to bring a model of luxury holiday hotels with all-inclusive service.
The first step is a project in San Andrés, which is under construction and will be released at the end of 2018. It is a hotel with 332 rooms, four restaurants, two swimming pools and an event room and would be a resort for holiday purposes. "The business model for this first development will be possible thanks to the support of Hitos Urbanos.
On the other hand, it is worth noting that both firms already have a plot ready for the construction of another 400-room hotel in Cartagena, which Sirenis would already enter as a foreign investor.
The entrance of this tour operator, which has almost a dozen hotels in Ibiza (Spain), a couple in the Mayan Rivera (Mexico) and the Dominican Republic.
For the Sirenis group, one of the aspects that led the firm to partner with OxoHotel, is that they have the same approaches in environmental and social terms.
According to the managers, the goal is for each of these hotels to have LEED certifications and, in turn, offer quality jobs to the inhabitants of the area, in addition to training and training.
